The Model 1886, dramatically different from predecessor lever actions, was the first repeating rifle of John M. and Matthew S. Browning design to be adopted by Winchester. Manufactured c. 1886-1935; total production of 159,994. Buttstock and forearm are made of European walnut with satin finish.
