How to Keep One Log Burning for Hours
There's nothing like a good old fashioned camping trip.
There's just something about getting out in nature, breathing the fresh air and sleeping under the stars.
Still, I hate to admit it, but there are a few things about camping that I find…less than fun. Such as having to continually stoke the fire and add more logs to keep it going.
It gets old after a while.
But believe it or not, there is a way to keep a fire burning longer…sometimes up to two or three hours! It's called a Swedish Torch.

Rocket Science- NOPE, Common sense, you make several of these up and take with you when camping by ATV, 4X4, Ect. They do work very well.
If backpacking do the norm, make a small fire as needed from what ever you find laying around.

Great idea and easy to follow video Leslie, Thank you. My question is can or will this work if you cut the slits with a wood saw? I do not have a chainsaw but have a hand held bow saw. I am disabled as well and cannot operate a chainsaw but can adapt with the bow saw. What do you think? Would the slits be to narrow for air to circulate? If someone could try this and let us know it would be most appreciated. I would do it but I have no access to firewood at this time. Thank you again Leslie.
