This news story is a little old, but we just came across it and couldn't believe our ears.

Last year, a high school student named David was suspended from school for ten days and told to transfer to an alternative high school. His crime? Driving his father's car to school with a knife inside.

David was chosen for a “random search” by the local sheriff's department, who found the knife inside. Despite David's explaining that the knife belonged to his father, a fisherman, David was told that the blade violated school policy. He was then suspended, and may be facing charges.

Check out the video below, and be sure to share your thoughts in the comments.

For some reason I can’t seem to open the video. (Nor is it located below on my screen, but rather above the text.) Not sure where this incident occurred so I’m not sure whether they were in violation of some local statutes, or whether it was a school policy they transgressed) Either way, all politics is local and concerned, conservative citizens should pack the School board with sane, logical, THINKING people.

My sons friend forgot he had a couple shotgun shells in his jacket last year. Went to the office and explained he had went hunting with his father the day before and forgot to empty his pockets. He didn’t want to hide what he had. ” which he should have done ” and ended up getting a couple days off. This government is over the top. A shotgun she’ll is useless without a shotgun. Was is he gonna do? Throw it at someone? If that’s the case would a stone in a pocket be suspension worthy?

  4. Why doesn’t Obama give him a reward and full rid scholarship like Clock Boy?
