You will only need a pinch or two. Pinch the yeast between your fingers and add to the mixture.

You do not need to stir it. Let it sit for a while.

7. Place Bottle Top Upside Down

Once you're done, place the bottle top upside down facing the mixture. The liquid will attract the mosquitoes and will fly into the opening.

The mosquitoes will be trapped inside the bottle and most likely won't be able to escape.

I tried it last year. It didn’t catch a single mosquito.

My dad use to take a bucket of water about 1/3 to 1/2 full, then he would add diesel fuel to the mix ( just enough to give a good coating to the water surface ) and then set it under a bright light at night ( appox 3 to 5 ft below the light ). I know this works, I grew up watching him do this on more than one occasion.

Thanks for the helpful products to avoid mosquito around our homes. I think these products are not much costly, but they work greatly if applied properly.

My wife had a grandmother that never got attacked by mosquitoes. She canned Dill pickles and would throw a handful of Garlic cloves into the canning jar.Maybe the mosquitoes could smell the VINEGAR,and or the OILS from the garlic cloves.
