Inflatable fishing boats are more stable than kayaks or canoes. This makes them very ideal for fishing. If you don't have the budget for big fishing boats, a nice rubber boat is perfect for your endeavor. We have just the right boat for you that's very durable, puncture resistant and not very stretchy at all. If you're looking for a boat for your weekend fishing trips, the Intex Seahawk 4 is an option.
Shopping For Inflatable Fishing Boats? Go For Intex Seahawk 4
There are a lot of fishing canoes and boats available in the market today. Due to the sheer number, people often get confused as to what kind, brand, or model they need to purchase. Now, one of the most practical purchases that any fisherman can make is an inflatable fishing boat, and Intex is one of the best brands for these babies. Bunyamin Toys explains in detail all the awesome features of the Intex Seahawk 4. The video covers everything from the fabric to dimensions and how it works with fishing!
The Seahawk 4 is lightweight, durable, and easy on the bank account. It's perfect for fishing and simple recreational sailing as well. In addition, this inflatable fishing boat could hold up to four people, but that won't exactly be conducive to fishing. Let's take a closer look at the Intex Seahawk 4!
Inflatable fishing boats are typically made of strong semi-elastic components like the Seahawk 4's 30-gauge vinyl material. The inflatable raft features a rash guard for when rowing manually and three separate reinforced air chambers for extra durability.
The Seahawk 4 is spacious enough accommodating up to 4 people totaling 880 lbs, or accommodate two persons who'd use it for fishing. Furthermore, there are fishing pole holders on the rear and front of the rubber boat making it very ideal for fishing.
What's In The Box
Aside from the rubber boat, the box contains two inflatable seats as well. These may be made of weaker material but they're pretty durable and comfortable to sit on. They may not be luxurious, but they can provide you with comfort for at least two to three hours out in open water. This beats squatting or sitting with crossed legs.
In addition, the pack also includes a manual pump for inflating the rubber boat and seats easily. Just place the handle on the bar and push down on the pump. Small fact: the pump is also similar to that of the inflatable mattresses that Intex makes.
It also comes with two aluminum oars that you could use for paddling the boat which sits nicely on the oarlocks when not in use. I'd recommend purchasing two additional paddles if you don't plan on using a motor for additional rowing power with the help of a friend.
Measuring at 11″6′ overall length and 5″ in width, the Intex Seahawk 4 has enough space for all your fishing gear on the hull. The wide surface area of the bottom ensures stability whether you're casually rowing on the lake or feeling adventurous drifting on the rapids. As for standing on the boat in open water, the boat kind of acts like a foam floor so there's some stability there. I wouldn't risk standing though, as the Seahawk glides through water surface easily.
The Seahawk 4 tops the list of inexpensive rubber boats. First, it's cheaper by $10 compared to the HydroForce Voyager. At just a little over $100, you already have a rubber boat for your fishing excursions. It's a great deal, if you ask me.
All in all, I think the Intex Seahawk 4 is a great deal in itself. First, the spacious hull fits my fishing needs perfectly. In addition, I could bring my family or grandchildren along on a river cruise while teaching them how to fish. Do I recommend this inflatable fishing boat? I must say, it's Buck-approved!
