Watch the World's Most Amazing Pocket-Sized Water Filter in Action

It might sound a little gross…but this video really is a testament to how well the LifeStraw works.

What is the LifeStraw? It's an on-the-go water filter that allows you to have clean, safe drinking water anywhere. When used properly, it filters out 99.9999% of waterborne bacteria!

Get yours here!

How does it work? According to the website:

The LifeStraw uses hollow fibre micro filtration to mechanically remove contaminants down to 0.2 microns. Imagine really small tubes with even smaller pores that trap contaminants, but allow water to flow through. You can stick it directly into a river, lake, stream or other open, fresh water source and drink water directly from the straw!

Pretty amazing, huh? You haven't seen anything yet…

If you've never seen the LifeStraw in action, you don't know what you're missing. Check out the video below to learn more about this amazing little water filtration system.

  1. I do not believe the Life Straw is capable of filtering out toxins in the water though, and drinking out of a river or any other water source that may contain chemicals from pesticides, fertilizers, etc would be dangerous. Unless the Life Straw has a charcoal filter as well and I don’t believe it does. The Life Straw is strictly to filter-out bacteria. Also, urine is usually safe as it is usually sterile anyway. Yuk! I have several Life Straws, a great product, but need to advise on it’s limitations as well.
