Stoeger Coach Gun Review
The Stoeger Coach Supreme is one of the quality shotguns at a reasonable price. This lightweight shotgun is quite handy, perfect to bring as a survival gun and performs just as well as those full-sized version guns.
While it was originally developed for Cowboy Action Shooting, this beauty can also be a hunter's best friend. Rabbit and squirrel hunters will find this convenient to use as a hunting shotgun.
Plus, this beauty can also be a great home-defense gun. Quite versatile, isn't it?
Gun Specs
This shotgun has a compact design and a traditional double-trigger developed for Cowboy Action Shooting. The barrel and receiver have three finish options: nickel, blued or stainless.
Additionally, it has a brass bead front sight, ideal for gun collectors as it would look good not only in your hands but also on the wall. This beauty also includes modified choke tubes, a wrench, and an improved cylinder.
Both 2-3/4” and 3” shells. Check your gun store for Stoeger coach gun accessories as well.
It comes in 12- or 20-gauge, both with 20” barrel length and 36.5” overall length. The difference lies in the average weight – the 12-gauge Stoeger Coach Supreme is approximately 6.5 lbs while the 20-gauge weighs around 6.4 lbs.
Ease of Use and Performance
Using a Stoeger Coach gun supreme is fairly easy. You just have to swing the lever simply to the side then break open the action.
Take out the spent shells then add the new shells. Afterward, pull the triggers then repeat as needed.
The packaged improved cylinder and modified chokes are quite efficient for bird and seasonal game hunters. You can also add a few modified chokes for goose and deer hunting, making the Stoeger Coach Supreme an all-purpose survival gun.
