1. Marshmallow

Ok but what do u do with the plants u eat them or cook or what is the proses to gain the benefits from the plants
You tube has a ton of info, just type in what you want to know. Don’t miss plantain, it grows everywhere & does so much. Good for tea, young leaves are good in salad, leaves steeped in coconut oil make soothing skin cream too.
Interesting but how do you process the plant to reap the benefit ? Do you just pick and eat, boil in a tea or what ?
I used to have a lot of purple coneflowers, echinacea, growing in front of my front porch, along with several other types of wildflowers. They’re easy to grow perennials, but don’t come back forever. I never made tea from it but you can use every part of the plant, flowers, leaves, stems, and roots. It’s supposed to be good for your immune system. Native Americans and the first settlers drank echinacea tea.
Mint and sage are both easy to grow and will come back for several years. Moxie, one of America’s first soft drinks, is flavored with gentian root extract, I tried it once and didn’t like it. https://www.drinkmoxie.com/products.php

Some of these are harder to grown than others… and some like mint need to be contained or it’ll be all over the place. Growing herbs has a learning curve but it’s a good ride!
