Tactical knives seem to be everywhere. Just about every prepper website or supply store is selling a tactical knife that they claim is the “best”.
But what makes a tactical knife a good one? What should you look for when purchasing the best tactical knife?
Choosing the Best Tactical Knife for You
Like most things, a lot of it comes down to personal preference. What works for one person might not be the best choice for another. Ultimately, choosing the best tactical knife for you will depend on your own personal needs and skill set.

We've gathered a few resources to help you choose the perfect tactical knife. Read on to learn more.

Folders are O.K. but, I like straight knifes. You can use them for a variety of needs and do not close unexpectedly.
Totally agree michael! I’ve almost lost my fingers having one closing on me during one trip. Luckily it was freezing cold and I was wearing gloves so the cuts was not that deep.
