With the amount of media coverage on gun-related accidents, politicians are pushing for more gun control or even outright gun bans.

Possible Firearms in the Restriction List
What is your stance on the gun control debate? We've seen pushes for the 5.56 ammo ban and I don't believe gun bans are a far-off possibility.
These are five guns that I believe will be the first to go when gun rights are restricted and a gun ban comes into effect. If you want to make sure you don't miss out on opportunities to own any of these guns, look below to see which ones I think are on the shortlist to be banned and get them while you still can.
You will probably notice that all of the firearms on this list are semi-automatic weapons following the National Firearms Act (NFA) and are often associated with violence because of their look alone.
Tell us if you see any other links between them and let us know which other guns you think gun control in America would put a ban on first in the comments section below.
1. Classic AR-15
The news media thinks because it looks scary and cool. It's automatically more deadly, right?
2. Saiga 12 Gauge Shotgun
This 12-gauge can shoot 15 shots in under 3 seconds easily getting it on the list for a gun ban.

A great choice for home defense.

3. IWI – Tavor
This bullpup semi-automatic sporting rifle takes standard AR-15 pattern magazines. This is an example of a gun the media looks at and sees as a frightening and futuristic design.
So obviously it must be more deadly than another firearm.
4. Saiga AK-47
This is an example of the type of guns politicians love to go after because they are scary-looking and have obtained a bad reputation due to their use by terror groups. This is sad because this is a weapon many Americans take out and just have fun with.
5. Barrett M107
This is the king of rifles. The .50 caliber Barrett M107 represents the pinnacle of big-bore anti-material firepower in a very portable package.
Watch this video by Iraqveteran8888 about the five guns the government doesn't want you to have:
At the end of the day, these firearms are nothing more than modern semi-automatic sporting rifles. There is a misconception that gun owners are crazy weirdos but many of us integrate these guns into our family activities.
We go, have fun with the kids, and do some shooting. These guns are no different than any other firearm, other than they may look more frightening to the media.
Do you think it's fair to restrict the ownership of these firearms? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section below!

Your point supports the membership in a militia. Their armory would be fortified and tyrannical government would search low hanging fruit before engaging a trained force of fighting men.
What use is a lousy popgun in the residence when the sovereign citizen is alone and likely untrained. A herd of Bubbas with an AR15 are no match for a SWAT crew.
If we all don’t wake up, it will not only guns they will ban. WAKE UP AMERICA…..
I agree, however I believe we need to recognize that the 2nd Amendment protects all of our other freedoms, and the 1st and 3rd Amendments in particular.
We are headed in a horrific direction in this country, and when Clinton is elected we are screwed.

THIS is why we need TRUMP in the White House. He will pick a team of the best of the best to get things back on track..Hitlery, the “butcher of Benghazi” thinks she already has the election in the bag. (perhaps she knows something the voting public do not) LIKE VOTER FRAUD AGAIN (like in the last TWO “elections”) Be vigilant people, and TRY to make your vote count, because the “elites” in BOTH parties are TERRIFIED… TRUMP will be elected and their MONEY and POWER will be cut off and “WE the PEOPLE” will get our Country back from the SCUM that are lining their pockets via the Taxpayers.
Most don’t have a clue as to what is coming. The entire world is going to be thrown into chaos. It won’t only be the ones who want to destroy our freedoms, either. The weather patterns will continue to change all over the world and there will be disasters of flood, fire, quakes, and volcanoes in various places. Back in the ’50s and early ’60s, the Sierra Nevada had snow on them all summer long. Now, by the end of June or by the middle of July, almost all of the snow is gone. So, we are in for some very hard times and we can prepare for only so long. Fortunately, I believe those time will be cut short. Still, we need to be ready spiritually as well as otherwise. Many blessing to all.
Already own four of them. (can’t afford the 107)
I am interested in buying one of the 5 guns you show … Specially the Ar or the Ak … I am new so I don’t know much …
How much are the Ar. ? And the Ak.
Thanks
Jose, thanks for the question. It is hard to put an exact price on them because of the many different variables. But, you can pick up a decent rifle for between 500-800$, depending on what you get. Hope this helps.
A Barrett .50 Cal. rifle was made to be used by the military and law enforcement.
When will a civilian ever be in a situation where they have to hit a target ALMOST 1 1/2 MILES FROM THEM?
It’s a fun gun to shoot for the pure entertainment alone. It’s not a crime to work on long distance shooting again for the pure entertainment. Working on this skill is for a lifetime. I have taken many people shooting regular rifles, just shooting paper. They never had any experience with shooting or hunting nor ever saw the need for a gun let alone a rifle. After a day of shooting they have all said they never knew how much fun it was, not to mention the stress relief. Stop vilifying the right to own any legal weapon with the, “I don’t see the need for it”!
The reason I have weapons is for hunting and home defense. And I chose my weapons with SHTF in mind. So though i dont mind any of the 5 listed, I dont need any of those 5 to do what i need done. What makes the AR or AK style so appealing is its smaller size and weight. But my 30-06 is a semi and has a shitload more stopping power. I know a lot of you have who have an -06 have a bolt action and consider a semi cheating when hunting. for me, I’m not proud. I’m more interesting in eating what I shot without needing to track it miles kist because of the time spent reloading or whatever. Call me a wuss but like I said, I’m also too long SHTF.
