A new report surfaced Thursday implicating President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden in a gun scandal. The report alleged that in 2018, the Secret Service intervened in a firearm-related incident involving the President’s son. This is on top of Hunter’s current problems involving taxes and foreign business deals he made.

October 2018 Incident
Hunter Biden’s gun fiasco happened back in October 2018. The incident involved him and his deceased brother Beau’s wife, Hallie Biden. After his brother’s death, Hunter and Hallie began dating. A police report dated Oct 23 2018 reported that police responded to a call where a gun owned by the President's son, ended up in a trash can outside of a Delaware market. Hallie supposedly threw the gun into the dumpster. Unfortunately, the dumpster’s location is near a local high school. Hallie later tried to retrieve the gun but was unable to find it. Meanwhile, Delaware police had to investigate out of concern that the gun might be a weapon used in recent criminal activity. Eventually, a local man who collected recyclable materials from the trash found the gun and returned it days later. The report did not specify where the gun ended up.

Hallie Biden reportedly threw the gun away due to concerns over Hunter’s instability. The police report mentioned that Hunter “became very agitated” when asked if a recent crime utilized the use of the firearm in question. Asked if he was on drugs or alcohol at the time, Hunter said Hallie suspected he is mentally unstable. She showed concern that he might commit suicide.
Police Incident Report
According to Politico, Secret Service agents got themselves involved in the gun mishap. “Secret Service agents approached the owner of the store where Hunter bought the gun and asked to take the paperwork involving the sale, according to two people, one of whom has firsthand knowledge of the episode and the other was briefed by a Secret Service agent after the fact. The gun store owner refused to supply the paperwork, suspecting that the Secret Service officers wanted to hide Hunter’s ownership of the missing gun in case it were to be involved in a crime, the two people said. The owner, Ron Palmieri, later turned over the papers to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, which oversees federal gun laws,” Politico reported.
Also, The news agency managed to obtain copies of the Firearms Transaction Record and a receipt for the gun dated October 12 2018 in the name of Hunter Biden. They also noted that the Secret Service agents assigned at the Wilmington office, who often helps with Joe Biden’s local security, unofficially came in to manage the incident.
Did Hunter Lie on His ATF Form?
For the gun purchase, Hunter Biden has to answer an ATF Form 4473 questionnaire that helps determine his competence to buy a firearm. When asked if he uses marijuana and other narcotics and controlled substances, he replied “No.”
However, the President’s son received a discharge from the Navy Reserve five years prior to the incident. He tested positive for cocaine at the time. In addition, family members and Hunter himself acknowledged his history of drug use. Lying on an ATF Form 4473 is a felony that carries a $250,000 fine plus a 10-year prison sentence.
‘No Knowledge’ of the Matter
Meanwhile, the US Secret Service said they have no records of the incident nor of their involvement. President Joe Biden, who didn't hold public office at the time, said through his spokesperson that he has no knowledge of the incident.
