It's always a pleasure to see odd things at SHOT Show 2016. Take, for example, something that's been around for a little bit, but still an oddity to at least some degree, simply because it hasn't been done a whole heck of a lot: Namely, a .357 1911 pistol.
Coonan was there on level one of the three level show with a digital cammo patterned .357 magnum 1911, as well as their latest .45 ACP 1911. The pistols themselves are absolutely gorgeous to look at, and have that big-gun, 1911 feel to them.
Wonder why?
Anyway, it's nice to see that the company seems to be doing well after such an erratic history. And, I've been told that I can be expecting a pistol to be delivered to my FFL at some point in the near future.
Frankly, I can't wait. I mean, you had me at .357 magnum semi-automatic.
