Where are the under $500 your Headline stated?
I have 5 Henry rifles and love em all .22, .30-30, .45-70, .44-40 and .44 magnum (this one being engraved by American Legacy Firearms) I have 3 Winchester model 94’s in .30-30 love them to!!
You show this 30 30. It is nice but you cannot buy ammo for it in this country
You forgot the best of the best. Bighorn Armory 500 S&W mag. Not cheap but extremely well made.
Henry Big Boy in 44 Magnum.
Marlin 1895 in 45-70.
A MODEL 94 for
$1,850 is mighty high…
$400-$600 is more in line with reality.
Where did you get bent over for $1,850 for a “94”Winchester!!!
Funny no mention of a Marlin 336 goes new for $450.-$500 and a better gun to boot!
IMHO none of those listed are ‘bad’ choices, just a matter of whether they fit an individual’s personal needs.
My only caveat is this: whichever one a person chooses, pick it to match your sidearm. After all that is how the old school cowpokes did it back in the day. Same caliber for both just makes sense.
I’ll have to save up some more money, I only have three of the five.
